Watery Wednesday #40
Where we lived in Perth, Western Australia, there was a large park with a lake in it. In winter when it rained alot the lake would flood. The local bird life loved it especially ducks and the state bird, the Black Swan.
I've never seen swans except at the zoo and they only have the white ones. Nice shot and I'm so glad you decided to join us! Hope you're enjoying Watery Wednesday! :-)

black swans are interesting!
I love our black swans, nice shot.
A beautiful bird. That red face against the black is quite striking.
Floods are also interesting! They bring always something new...
That is a beautiful bird ...it really stands out against the blue of the lake water..
Cool shot..

That's a great shot. I know many Americans don't get to see a black swan.

Cheers,
